Strada is a social motorsport and performance driving platform. The App may allow users to record track sessions, lap times, GPS routes, vehicle data, track information, achievements, badges, rankings, and related social activity.

Because Strada is based on lap timing, location tracking, leaderboards, and social sharing, some features require collection of location, motion, vehicle, account, and session data.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

2.1 Account Information

When you create or use an account, we may collect:

• username;
• display name;
• profile photo;
• email address;
• Apple Sign-In identifier or other authentication identifier;
• account creation date;
• account settings;
• blocked users, moderation status, or account restrictions where applicable.

2.2 Profile and Social Information

You may choose to provide or create:

• profile image;
• posts, comments, reactions, likes, or other social interactions;
• achievements, badges, XP, rankings, and leaderboard activity;

When you add a vehicle, we may collect:

• vehicle brand;

• trim or version;
• drivetrain;
• vehicle class;
• modifications or performance-related details;
• vehicle images;
• other information you choose to provide.

2.4 Location and Motion Data

To record track sessions, lap times, and routes, Strada may collect precise location and motion data, including:

• GPS coordinates;
• route and trajectory;

• acceleration;
• distance;
• lap and sector timing;
• start line and finish line crossing data;
• timestamps;

Location data may be collected while a session is active, including in the background, if you grant permission.

2.5 Track and Session Data

• best lap;
• sector times;
• route shape;
• track configuration;
• leaderboard placement;
• car used for the session;
• session date and time;
• session visibility;
• session validation status;
• deleted, hidden, rejected, or suspicious session markers where applicable.

2.6 Device and Technical Data

• device identifiers used for app functionality, security, analytics, or crash reporting;

• diagnostics;

2.7 Bluetooth and External Hardware Data

If Strada supports external timing or GPS devices, we may process data from connected hardware, including:

• Bluetooth device connection status;

• device identifier or serial number, where available;

2.8 Photos and Camera

We do not access your photo library or camera unless you grant permission.

3. How We Use Information

• create and manage your account;

• provide lap timing and session recording;
• show routes, maps, tracks, and session history;
• calculate lap times, sector times, distance, speed, rankings, XP, badges, and achievements;

• create and manage track pages;
• classify vehicles and session results;

• improve performance, reliability, and user experience;

4. Public Information

Some information may be visible to other users or the public if you choose to publish it or use public features.

Public information may include:

• profile photo;
• vehicle information;
• public lap times;
• track results;
• leaderboard position;
• badges and achievements;
• XP or level;
• public posts, comments, and reactions;
• public track submissions;
• public session summaries.

Do not publish information that you do not want others to see.

5. Location Data

Strada uses precise location data for core functionality, including track session recording, lap timing, route display, track detection, and leaderboard validation.

Location data may be used to:

• detect when you cross a start line or finish line;
• calculate lap times and sector times;
• display your session route;
• validate session results;
• detect suspicious or inaccurate results;
• improve track maps and track data;
• show results on track leaderboards.

You can disable location access in your device settings. Some Strada features may not work without location access.

6. Background Location

If you grant background location permission, Strada may collect location data while the App is not actively visible on screen, but only for features that require ongoing session recording.

You can stop recording at any time in the App. You can also disable background location permission in your device settings.

7. Motion and Sensor Data

Strada may use motion and sensor data to improve session recording, timing, movement analysis, and result validation.

Sensor data may include acceleration, heading, gyroscope data, and device motion data.

8. Bluetooth Data

If you connect external hardware, Strada may use Bluetooth to communicate with supported devices.

Bluetooth data is used only to provide device-related features, such as receiving GPS, motion, battery, or session data from supported devices.

You can disable Bluetooth permission in your device settings, but external hardware features may stop working.

9. Photos

Photos you upload may be displayed in your profile, garage, posts, track pages, or other App features depending on where you upload them and your visibility settings.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload any image you submit.

10. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data based on one or more of the following:

• your consent;
• performance of our agreement with you;
• our legitimate interests, such as providing, securing, improving, and moderating the App;
• compliance with legal obligations;
• protection of rights, safety, and security.

11. Sharing of Information

We may share information in the following cases.

11.1 With Other Users

Public profile, leaderboard, session, track, badge, post, comment, reaction, and vehicle information may be shown to other users depending on the feature and your visibility settings.

11.2 With Service Providers

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App, such as:

• cloud hosting providers;
• database and backend providers;
• file storage providers;
• authentication providers;
• analytics providers;
• crash reporting providers;
• email and support tools;
• map and location service providers;

11.3 With Apple

If you use Apple services, such as Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, notifications, or Apple platform features, Apple may process information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

11.4 For Legal and Safety Reasons

We may share information if we believe it is necessary to:

• protect the rights, property, or safety of Strada, users, or others;

12. Third-Party Services

Before submitting the App to the App Store, we will review third-party SDKs and disclose required data practices in App Store Connect.

13. Advertising and Tracking

At this time, Strada does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party advertising tracking.

If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any required permissions where applicable.

14. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the App, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and protect the integrity of leaderboards and community records.

Some public leaderboard, track, session, badge, moderation, or anti-cheating records may be retained even if they are no longer visible, where necessary for security, integrity, legal, or operational reasons.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymize it, or retain it only as required by law.

15. Account Deletion

When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, anti-fraud, dispute, safety, or legitimate business reasons.

Strada is not intended for children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the App, App Store listing, website, or other reasonable means.

The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted, unless a different date is stated.
